Cactus Equipment & Supplies had it's beginnings as Cactus Coatings in Boulder Colorado, 1988. Under the direction of founder Mick Eminger and his partner Bob Elliot, Cactus moved to Grand junction in 1990 and soon became one of the largest, if not the largest coating facility of ceramics in the world. Full production produced 20,000 mugs per day with a coating and service that was second to none.
In addition to operating a coating line, Cactus developed into one of the leading manufacturers of mug presses plus the original Cactus Wrap . Years of experience and the involvement of coated ceramics provided the basis for building quality equipment and exemplorary service in the industry. When it came to imaging mugs and other ceramics, the name Cactus had become synonymous with quality!
The year 2005 saw a division of areas with Mick pursuing the equipment and supplies while Bob moved the coating plant and production overseas . The name Cactus continues to represent quality, in products and service to the specialty imaging and sublimation markets. We hope you'll allow us the chance to prove it!

Looking to the future!
Although Cactus Equipment will continue to produce quality presses, wraps and other equipment, one of the new focal points will be on the utilization of laser OEM toners for decorating product. As one of the pioneers in this emerging process, Cactus will strive to further develop and refine this exciting new market.
